Time is flying! Week 6

Aroha 4 started off their week sleeping in and boy was it great having Monday off! However it was even better to come back on Tuesday well rested and ready to learn.

This week is short but jam packed week. We finished off our coconut tree to end Samoan Language Week. We are so proud of our hands all coming together.

In Topic we are looking at Underwater Life. With the help of our lovely buddy class we created a cool underwater display. Everyone in the class coloured in a fish and added it to the background display. Do you like?

This week in maths we looked at measuring using a ruler it was so much fun and we are getting much better at using a ruler. In letters and sounds we were playing beats using a drum and we looked at what sounds we can make with our body. We used our feet-stomping, hands- clapping, fingers- clicking. It is so amazing the beats that can be made from our body.

A big congratulations to Solomona and Ivana for receiving certificates in syndicate assembly this week. You guys rock!!
