Week 7

We were lucky enough to get in a chance to swim! It was so much fun. We practised hopping in the pool and holding on to the bar. We also got the chance to use the kickboards we were very confident!!

The whole school were very lucky to get a surprise in the morning Mr Vasau called everyone to come and grab an ice cream! We stopped everything and went straight away, check out our pictures! Delicious!

We have been in math enjoying the fun of number fans! It engages us all,  gives us a bit of challenge and healthy competition with others. We use them to practise recognising our tens frames patterns and finger patterns to 10.

Hauora- Healthy Eating!

Sadly we have not been able to do swimming this due to the poor weather.  We did however get to touch the water and it felt much warmer than what we originally thought. We can not wait to go swimming. Our next turn is in Week 8 fingers crossed for good weather whanau.

We have been focussing on Hauora (Health)- Healthy eating in particular. We had so much fun looking at each others lunch and matching what foods fit in with our Rowandale healthy eating. It was a good hands-on learning experience.

Thank you whanau for giving your child yummy kai to eat at school!
