Vaiaso o le gagana Sāmoa - Samoa Language Week

Talofa Lava Whanau and Friends of Aroha 4

Week 5 has started off with a bang!! It is Samoan Language Week we are so very blessed to live in such a diverse country where we embrace other cultures. We started off with the raising of the Samoan Flag. We have been exposed to the language and the national anthem which we loved hearing our fellow Samoan students in Aroha 4 sing with pride and honour.

Koko Alaisa... We are pros now!! A huge thank you to Mary (Paulines mother) for coming in and lending us a helping hand. We went through ingredients, equipment and the steps we took as a class to make this lovely traditional Samoan dish.

Here are two of our students who dressed in the Samoan attire.
