Fakaalofa Lahi atu and Namaste

First Day back with hats on. We are ready for you Mr Sun!
Fakaalofa atu and Namaste! We are back and rolling. This week we have been lucky to come back to school with not one but TWO language weeks... Niuean and Indian!!

Our challenge for Niuean language week was to make fresh coconut cream. Aroha 4 alongside Aroha 3 were lucky to have Miss Henry to show us the ropes.

We used:
- 2 coconuts
- Knife
- Bowl
- Coconut scraper
- cloth

We were lucky enough to look, feel and taste the coconut. Some of us liked it others not so much but it was a great hands on learning experience.

Miss Henry demonstrated how to sit without hurting yourself because it is very sharp! We also learn't the technique to scrap and the movement. Miss Zinck was very uncoordinated!! To end our coconut making session we coloured in and admired the Niuean Flag.
