First Day back with hats on. We are ready for you Mr Sun! |
We used:
- 2 coconuts
- Knife
- Bowl
- Coconut scraper
- cloth
We were lucky enough to look, feel and taste the coconut. Some of us liked it others not so much but it was a great hands on learning experience.
Miss Henry demonstrated how to sit without hurting yourself because it is very sharp! We also learn't the technique to scrap and the movement. Miss Zinck was very uncoordinated!! To end our coconut making session we coloured in and admired the Niuean Flag.
Scraping coconut is hard work, but it gives us yummy coconut cream to use in our cooking and baking. YUM YUM!
