Maori Language Week 8

Haere Mai Whanau and Friends,

Monday: We learn't greetings to peers and groups.

Tuesday: We learn't head shoulders knees and toes and colours in Māori. Aroha 4 enjoyed this very much and are very good at doing it fast.

Wednesday: We learnt how to say Maths, Writing, Reading Groups and Arts in Māori.

Maths: Pāngarau
Art: Mahi Toi
Reading Groups: Roopu Paanui
Writing: Tuhi a Reo

Thursday: We learn't affirmations
Ka pai
Kia Kaha
Tauke

To end the week we had our very own Zjayden, Phoenix, Kyra, Aziza, Sikini and Nicole perform. Awesome effort participating in a great performance alongside other Aroha students. A huge thank you to Aroha 1 and Aroha 5 teachers for taking the lead and doing this for Aroha students. We are grateful!
